Dr. Mike is a member of the American Dental Association, Siouxland Study Club, and he is a past district president and delegate of the SD Dental Association.

She went on to attend the University of Nebraska Lincoln where she majored in biology and was a saxophone-playing member of the Cornhusker Marching Band. Dr. Darcie is a proud mom of two boys whom she hopes will follow in her footsteps and have a love of music. She enjoys spending time outside with her family whether it be riding bikes, hiking or enjoying beautiful Lewis and Clark Lake.
Dr. Darcie is a member of the American Dental Association, Siouxland Study Club, and is a past district delegate of the SD Dental Association.
Pam Goeden is our organizationally talented office manager who has the great distinction of being the team member with the longest tenure at Yankton Family Dentistry. She has been with the practice since it opened in 1992. A native of Crofton, NE she is our resident expert on scheduling, filing dental insurance, and in general just keeping our days moving. She enjoys helping people understand their dental options and insurance coverage. But don’t think for a minute that Pam can only talk teeth. She can also fill you with information on birdwatching, kayaking, gardening and how to keep up with six grandkids!

Sarah Arens is a certified dental assistant who has been a part of our team since 2010. She is a native of Crofton, NE and a graduate of Crofton High School. Sarah is a very talented chairside assistant who is able to hold and do so many things simultaneously, one might think she has four hands. We have checked – there are just two! Sarah enjoys the variety of procedures she gets to help with at Yankton Family Dentistry, but she thinks it’s our patients that keep our jobs interesting and fun. Sarah and her husband are busy parents of three kids. In her free time, she likes to walk, boat, bike and read.

She and her husband are the proud parents of two beautiful young daughters. Emily is also our resident “starlet” as she loves to perform and has been active in the local theater community.
We hired Tara O’Gorman in 2020 to help out at our busy front desk, and boy are we glad we did! Tara is truly a jack of all trades. Not only is she another smiling face at the reception desk to answer phones and make appointments, she helped us navigate patient management in the early days of the pandemic and will jump in wherever needed to make our days run smoothly. Tara is a native of Yankton and has worked in customer service for many years prior to joining our team. She and her husband have three children and two (in her words) naughty dogs! Her favorite days are summer ones spent by the pool with her kids in the daytime and around a firepit at night.
