Important Information Regarding COVID-19
Yankton Family Dentistry is following the most recent guidelines of the American Dental Association in order to protect our patients and staff. These provisions include:
-Patients will be asked to check in from their car and to not bring visitors to appointments in an effort to reduce the number of people in the waiting room.
-All persons entering the office will have their temperature taken and asked to go home if that temperature is greater than 100.4 degrees F.
-Our caregivers will be wearing KN95 and surgical masks
-Our caregivers will be changing PPE between patients in accordance with the most recent guidelines for dental offices.
-Multiple types of suctioning devices will be used to reduce aerosols during patient procedures.
-Plexiglass shields have been placed at the reception desk.
-Breathe Clean total home air purification systems have been installed on all HVAC units. This purification system uses UV light to kill viruses, molds and bacteria in the air.
-In addition to our normal strenuous protocol of sterilization of instruments and patient treatment rooms, our team has increased our efforts to disinfect the office with specific attention to areas with high traffic and contact such as doors, bathrooms, and waiting room countertops and chairs.
-As always, there will be hand sanitizer available for patient use in the waiting room and patient treatment rooms.
